The Whips proudly presents Confusions, a series of one-act plays by Alan Ayckbourn.

 

The Whips will present four of the five short plays which make up the total. Although independent plays they are interlinked.

 

Each play deals comedically with human eccentricities but in typical Ayckbourn fashion they have sharply pointed undertones. There's a mother unable to escape from baby talk, an unsuccessful seduction, a fraught dinner encounter and a disastrous fete.
